Those following the two-year Bible reading plan with me will begin reading the book of Micah tomorrow, November 26. (Link to the Two-Year Bible Reading Plan Bookmarks)

The prophet Micah spoke to the people of Judah during the reigns of Kings Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah. He prophesied against both Israel and Judah because of their sin and rebellion against God telling them that they would be captured and sent into exile.

Micah didn’t only warn the people of their pending punishment, he also told them they could look forward to a time when they would be restored to their land and once again be strong and their enemies would be punished.

Micah also includes many prophesies that foretell the coming of the Messiah.
