Nisan 1 – Spiritual New Year, Anniversary of Tabernacle, and Possible Birthday of Christ Jesus
Today, Nisan 1, (March 14, 2021) is a holy day to God. As is true of Easter, this date on our calendar will be different every year since the calendar of that time was based on the cycles of the moon.
In Genesis 12:2, while the Israelites were still in Egypt, God told Moses that this was to be the first month of the year. It would become the month the Israelites left Egypt and slavery behind them, the month of the first Passover, and one year later on the first day of the month, the day the tabernacle was erected. There is also strong evidence that supports the possibility that Nisan 1 is also the actual birthday of Christ Jesus.
To honor this day I have been looking for the best videos I can find on YouTube that help give us some solid background.
Mt. Sinai
First is an introductory video of the path the Israelites traveled to reach Mt. Sinai.
A more detailed video describing the archaeological finds around Mt. Sinai.
The Tabernacle
This video shows the details of how the tabernacle was built according to God’s plan.
Another video giving more background and the significance of all the details of the tabernacle.
Christ Jesus’ Birth Date
Jonathan Cahn offers much convincing evidence to support the date of Nisan 1 as Christ Jesus’ birthday.
