Second Chronicles continues where 1 Chronicles ends with the refresher history lesson for the people of Israel after they returned from their many years in exile and after the fall of Jerusalem. Second Chronicles reports on Solomon and the kings of the southern kingdom of Judah following the line of David. It omits the kings of the northern kingdom of Israel.
